What is Art of Working?

Updated: Jan 14, 2020

“I think the foremost quality – there’s no success without it – is really loving what you do. If you love it, you do it well, and there’s no success if you don’t do well what you’re working at.”

Malcolm Forbes

Each and every one of us, at some point of time, have had this conversation with ourselves, I think I'm gonna quit it. But how often we question the reason and try to make it work.

The zeal to get up every morning and go to a place that literally provides you with your bread and butter must be a happy place for you right?

Unfortunately, for a large portion of people, this answer remains a big “NO”.

As a matter of fact, the only thing we look forward to, the moment we reach our workplace is to go back home.

Changing times does have forced the nature of work we do now, but even so not feeling enthusiastic about our work have some serious effect on our professional and personal lives.

Remember to shed your inhibitions at the door-step of every challenge and become an empty vessel to tackle the situation.

Life is too short is probably not the right metaphor if you look deeply into the right figures. A study by Rob Dial showcases an approx number of days we spend doing various activities.

Having to spend a major percentage of our lives working we ought to find happiness, not only in the best of the situations but the ability to counter every front is the key to contentment.

If work makes you dread, and you succumb to the feeling of giving in, perspective is what you need to change. The common assumption of work not being the as much fun as home is just a cloud people build around them. There are 'n' number of reason for this cloud to build upon.

One of the biggest roadblocks in this journey towards contentment out of your work lies deep within you. The artist in you is just sitting idle without having any idea about its true potential. We need to unleash the things holding you back and strive towards finding the reasons to stick to your work and make it worth spending a major part of your life.

Transcending into a state of happiness is what everyone is dealing with, be it in any of the hierarchy, the problem remains the same. And when the problem is one for all, so is the solution.

This need to change our working style and the constant dreariness towards work has led the idea of Art of Working into existence.

Art of Working is designed to provide answers and roadmap, to questions you never even thought had an answer to.

How can you make work fun you ask? Laying down the appropriate strategies, eliminating the fears through engagement, and evaluation of the actions that make the reality of happiness at work seems too far fetched, the science of Art of Working can help you to achieve all of this and much more.

Improving compassion, gratitude and an array of such feelings towards the work culture is what you need to inculcate in your behaviour to savour the thirst of greatness.

Now, ask yourself this, how eager are you to find out ways to make everything simpler and appreciate even the smallest of moments while you work your way off to become the best of you.
